Dr Muhamed is currently practising as an Associate Specialist in Addiction Psychiatry. As a doctor, he holds three degrees in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. He has a particular interest in ADHD, Autism, and the Dual Diagnosis Pathway, particularly in relation to co-occurring mental health disorders such as Bipolar Affective Disorder and Paranoid Schizophrenia.

His work primarily involves managing complex patients who present with ongoing mental health symptoms alongside co-existing physical health conditions. Earlier in his career, Dr Muhamed practised as a GP for five years, providing him with a well-rounded perspective and valuable insight when treating patients with multiple health challenges. This background enables him to take a comprehensive and integrated approach to care, considering both mental and physical health factors.

Dr Muhamed is a firm believer in an evidence-based, holistic approach to mental health assessments, ensuring that every aspect of a patient’s well-being is considered. His commitment to thorough and meticulous evaluation means that he leaves no stone unturned in striving to provide the highest standard of care for those under his treatment.
