Steven Davis

My mission is to ensure that every assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan I deliver is not only clinically robust but also deeply compassionate. I bring over 30 years of frontline experience in mental health, specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

 

I assess and prescribe for both adults and children, working safely within my clinical scope of practice. My work spans both child and adult services, with extensive experience in NHS CAMHS teams and independent practice. I’m fully trained in a range of gold-standard diagnostic tools including QBTest, RIAS-2, WRAT-5, ADOS-2, ADI-R, and the DIVA-5 interview. These help ensure that every assessment is comprehensive, individualised, and grounded in evidence.

 

I also hold the RCN Advanced Level Nursing Practice (ALNP) Credential, a recognised mark of excellence in advanced clinical care. As a V300 Independent Prescriber, I routinely initiate and manage ADHD medications—always with a focus on safety, clarity, and collaboration with patients and families.

 

Education and mentoring are core to my values. As a qualified teacher (QTLS) and Fellow of several professional bodies, I support the growth of our clinical team and uphold the highest standards in care delivery at ADHD Certify. I also lead on audit, supervision, and clinical governance to ensure our service remains ethical, accountable, and patient-centred.
