I have been working in the caring field for over 30 years, helping people with mental health difficulties and the challenges of neurodiversity. I aim to empower people to understand and take control of their lives by providing them with the utmost care, compassion, empathy, and a listening ear. We can achieve the best outcomes by placing patients and their families at the core of their care.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to gain a diverse range of skills and experiences, working in various areas related to mental health and neurodiversity. One of my most significant achievements was being part of an award-winning team that started as a pilot service and earned the Evidence into Practice award for assessing and treating adolescents who self-harmed. I also managed a team of health professionals who helped people with long-term health conditions get back into full-time employment through a partnership with the DWP. I take pride in working to the highest standards and taking an evidence-based approach to my clinical work.

For the past 12 years, I have combined my knowledge and expertise in psychological therapy with my understanding of neurodiversity. During this time, I have been developing neurodiversity services within the NHS. I have also been assessing people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) while supporting colleagues in developing their skills in this area.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to join ADHD-certify, a platform that shares my values and vision. The most exciting aspect of this new role is the ability to provide high-quality service without the constraints of long waiting times. I look forward to providing individuals with the support and care they need precisely when needed. My skills, expertise, and experience make me an excellent addition to the team, and I am excited to make a meaningful impact in this new role.
