Who Benefits from an ADHD Assessment

If hyperactivity, impulsivity, or inattention are affecting your day-to-day life, you should consider an ADHD assessment.
Usual ADHD symptoms to look out for:
  • Difficulty paying attention to details.
  • Being forgetful and misplacing things.
  • Occasional restlessness and fidgeting.
  • Chronic procrastination and disorganisation.
  • Interrupting others and talking over them.
  • Going for immediate gratification over long-term rewards.
  • Time management issues that cause delays.
  • Inability to wait for things.
  • Trouble finishing projects when exciting bits are over.
If you’ve noticed these, we recommend you get a comprehensive ADHD Assessment. Book your assessment with ADHD Certify for a timely, affordable, and reliable diagnosis.

What to Expect After the ADHD Assessment

An ADHD Assessment can give you a more objective look at the symptoms and help you understand that there is a neurological basis for them.
Before ADHD Assessment After ADHD Assessment
Might blame yourself for being “lazy” or “inattentive”. Relief in knowing that these are symptoms of ADHD and not a personal flaw.
Might struggle with internal identity because you don’t understand why you are “different.” Understanding why you are “different” helps with self-acceptance and relief.
Might be struggling with completing assigned tasks. You can plan days to accommodate symptoms and function more efficiently.
Might feel overwhelmed because you used traditional organisational methods. You can opt for methods that work with your brain, not against it, for realistic expectations.
Might be stuck in a cycle of failed self-improvement attempts. You have a clear pathway to betterment, whether that be through therapy, medication, or some other method.

How It Works

1

Book Your Assessment

We’ve partnered with certified clinicians to offer you reliable assessments. Choose a certified clinician and pick a slot that works best for you.
2

A Self-Assessment Questionnaire

You or someone close to you can fill in the questionnaire (multiple-choice questions) and submit it.
This questionnaire helps your ADHD specialist better understand you and your symptoms – for a more accurate ADHD diagnosis and treatment plan.
3

The ADHD Assessment

The assessment is a 90-minute online video ADHD assessment with your personal Clinician. You can consider it a relaxed, non-judgmental discussion with your clinician about symptoms, medical history, and complaints. The assessment will also include counselling on the various treatment options used to manage ADHD.

4

Your Assessment Report

Within 10 working days of your ADHD assessment, you will receive your report by email.
The report will detail:
  • Diagnostic outcome – this will tell you if you have been diagnosed with ADHD and what type of ADHD it is.
  • An explanation of the diagnosis findings.
  • Proposed treatment plan and options.
  • Information Pack on how to move forward with your treatment plan.

Choose Your Treatment Option
