No. A GP referral is required to access the Right to Choose pathway. You cannot refer yourself directly to ADHD Certify, but downloading our GP letter makes the referral process straightforward for both you and your GP.
Right to Choose is an NHS England pathway and does not apply in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. If you are based elsewhere in the UK, we offer other alternatives to get assessed with no referral needed and shorter wait times.
Yes. Right to Choose applies to both adults and children from age 9. A parent or guardian can request a Right to Choose referral for their child through the child’s GP, and the same eligibility criteria apply.
If you are currently waiting on the standard NHS pathway, you may be able to switch to the Right to Choose pathway and be seen sooner with ADHD Certify. Get in touch and we will advise on your options.
Your autism assessment with ADHD Certify involves pre-assessment questionnaires and a structured video consultation with a specialist clinician conducted in line with NICE guidelines. The full diagnostic assessment includes a 90-minute evaluation session with your specialist and a 120-minute developmental history interview with a parent, caregiver or a partner, followed by a full written diagnostic report sent to you and your GP.
