Registered Learning Disability Nurse | BSc (Hons) Health & Social Care | Advanced Clinical Skills | Independent Nurse Prescriber (NMP) | CHA-PAS Trained
I am a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with a BSc (Hons) in Health & Social Care, advanced clinical skills training, and certification as an Independent Nurse Prescriber. I am also CHA-PAS trained, bringing a wealth of expertise to my clinical practice.
With 12 years of experience in an NHS multidisciplinary team, I have conducted ADHD assessments for children and young people with learning disabilities. This role involved working closely with families and schools to provide tailored behaviour support plans.
Since 2022, I have been part of an NHS Adult ADHD team, where I perform diagnostic assessments, initiate treatment plans, prescribe medication, and conduct annual reviews.
I am committed to empowering patients and collaborating with them to ensure their care is tailored to their individual needs. My goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care that promotes positive outcomes.
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, road biking, baking, and attending music festivals. Spending quality time with loved ones and friends is especially important to me. I am also passionate about professional development and regularly attend conferences and training focused on ADHD to enhance my knowledge and skills.
